Read Along: Tenba Roadie cases are designed to protect your your cumbersome grip equipment. On location, there is no easier way to transport light stands and tripods. In the studio, the Roadie is a convenient way to help move your heavy equipment. The outside of the Roadie grip case is wrapped in heavy-duty ballistic nylon, and all enclosures feature #10 YKK zippers, the strongest available. A case full of grip equipment is one of the heaviest things to transport on location. To help, we've designed four different ways to move our Grip cases. Let's face it, we all owe a huge debt to the person who invented the wheel, and so in honor of that wonderful person, we put TWO wheels at the base of the case. This is great for moving the Roadie up stairs, around tight corners, or in and out of elevators. Then once you get the Roadie inside the studio, there's no reason to keep supporting all that weight just to move it around. Instead, three rotating casters on the bottom of the case give it amazing maneuverability. Just take the padded leash out of its storage slot, and the case glides along the floor like a toy dog, or even a real dog on wheels. If you're in a situation where wheels aren't ideal -- like moving over sand, or loading the Roadie into a car -- there are handles on both ends making it easy for two people to grab. And if the Roadie is light enough for one person to carry, it performs like a duffel bag, with two handles stored in pockets on either side that come together in the middle. The Roadie opens in a drop-down fashion to make loading and unloading a breeze. Inside the case, heavy-duty, seatbelt-grade tie down straps secure the heaviest items such as light stands, tripods or booms against the bottom of the case. Straps keep the load from shifting, and ensure that the heavier items don't destroy the lighter items in the case. A pocket along one side of the interior is perfect for lighting cables and extension cords. And pockets on the other side and inside the top are great for umbrellas, softboxes and other lighter weight accessories. On the outside there is a plate that can be laser engraved with your contact info or custom logo through Tenba's exclusive engraving program. When you have to lift heavy equipment make sure to lift with your legs, not with your back. The rest of the time embrace the wheel. Let the Roadie Grip case do the work. And just roll.
